Book of Memory
A minute of silence (for people who die because of war in Ukraine) every day is so little.
The Book of Remembrance is so deep, endless.
Remembering the price. Knowing what we are paying for.
Dangerous blood loss is two litres. It leads to the death of a person. Such loss of blood can happen because of injury in the war, both on the battlefield and due to the impact of rockets on civilians. To save life is to stop bleeding in a timely and efficient manner.


Two hours long embroidering with folded eyes. Making the cloth with paths and patterns which are not predictable. Meditation as it is. The result of such way of stitching can be seen only at the end. As the life path can be observed at the end.
The performance takes place as the unwinding of balls of thread, as a continuation of the installation.
The embroidered text is a play on words from the Polish proverb Ladnie - Nie Ladnie (good - bad).

The performance plays with key concepts in teaching graphic design, namely line, point, and spot - the basic elements that make up any drawing or composition.
Performance as a game with academic rules.
The performance is dedicated to the annexation of Crimea. The artist transcribes handwritten letters from the wife of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi - famous Ukrainian author, which she wrote to him in Crimea.
