Unwritten Letters don't Come

2016
Duration 40 min

The performance is dedicated to the annexation of Crimea. The artist transcribes the letters of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi’s wife, which she wrote to him in Crimea, by hand. She transcribes, paints, reads and hangs them in front of the audience. Later, the letters will be put in envelopes and sent to the real address of the Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Museum in Crimea. But these letters will be returned, because Ukrposhta does not deliver to Crimea now.

The performance was shown at the INTERMEZZO literary festival, Vinnytsia, Ukraine
