The project started with the war 2018. We remember about it. These are the names of killed defenders. Not all the names. During embroidering you realize that each name is the Person. And we are standing on the ground which hold these names and continuing to absorb the blood. It is about awareness. About being in this moment of life. It is about gratefulness.  Because here, where I am, everything is calm.

A minute of silence every day is so little. We have it in oder to honor who died from the beginning of Russian-Ukrainian war.

The Book of Remembrance is so deep, endless. And it is very difficult to realize that it is a work-in-progress…

This is my reflection and my immersion in memory. Remembering the dead, their names, reading the surnames and call signs, recognizing those I heard about, thinking about others, longing for those I knew, sympathizing with the families, not being able to comprehend the pain.

Remembering the price. Knowing what we are paying for.
